Positive Behaviour Support

Social Skills: Each fortnight the whole school focuses on a social skill to improve collaborative teaching and learning outcomes. At assembly the skill is introduced and modelled by staff. Students who demonstrate a particular commitment are awarded with certificates at the end of the fortnight.

Pastoral Care

School Psychology Service – An Educational Psychologist is onsite a day per week. This service, provided by the Department of Education, is available to all students K – 6. For further information or assistance in this area please speak to your child’s teacher.

School Chaplain – SRE

Special Religious classes are held for years 1-6, for thirty minutes per week for one semester. Parents may choose for their child participate in Christian Faith classes or Bahai classes.
A community Christmas service is held in the last week of school each year at St Laurence’s Anglican Church Dalkeith.
